These images are some of my highlights from 2011, where I had a particular focus on composition, colour and form. I have a particular interest in storytelling.

Melburbia is an 88 page, hand bound graphic novel about Melbourne\'s stereotypes. The story follows a train commuter\'s journey as he encounters bogans, hipsters and soccer mums. This study examines the graphic novel form and the tribal nature of Melb.

A selection of work inspired by two timeless classics, Big Fish and Fantastic Mr Fox. The images are created using acrylic inks on acetate sheets, then scanned and finished digitally with an emphasis on composition, colour and shape.

\'The War Bride\' is an on going portraiture series.The starting point of which is my personal collection of WW2 servicemen portraits. The pieces are made from glass,pencil and water colour.
