About

Anno online design competition celebrates the spirit of creative excellence and gives emerging talent a stage in which to strut their stuff, connect with peers, and network with industry professionals across the world. And of course get their first taste of international recognition and success.

Anno is open to anyone currently studying and graduates from 2010 - 2011 in any of these categories at a tertiary level.: advertising, architecture, fashion design, graphic design, illustration, industrial design and photography are all eligible to enter. And here’s how:

  • Upload your entry into the relevant category where it will be open for voting for 1 month.
  • Voting is open to one and all so get your friends to vote.
  • At the end of each month the top 25 ranked works will be showcased on the Anno website in the Top 25 for ongoing industry and public viewing.
  • Industry judging will take place twice a year where up to 10 chosen entries from each category will be published digitally which will be available on multiple platforms.
  • Round # 1 - Sweden Closing date June 19 2011
  • Round # 2 - London Closing date December 18 2011
  • The judges will also select their top works for inclusion in the end of year Anno 2011-12 print annual which will be internationally distributed with the student name and college.
  • Winners will be announced at the end of the year once Round # 2 has made their final selection.
  • The Anno judging panel for each category has been chosen from industry professionals.
  • Students can only enter one entry per week and Anno must approve the entry before it goes live. If it isn’t up to an acceptable standard it will be rejected.

Acceptable Formats

All entries should be uploaded at 72dpi in either .jpg of .gif formats with maximum file size being 2mb per image. Each entry can contain up to 5 images. If entries are accepted for publication then they must be resupplied at 300dpi in a suitable format for print. Failure to so within the allocated time will render the entry ineligible. Video files cannot be larger than 10mg and no more than 2 minutes in length. Formats accepted are flv, wmv, mp4, avi or mov.
