Building on an intrinsic awareness of the world around him, Bacca Da Silva has developed a creative, rich, vibrant and playful world of diverse influences, uniquely blending fashion and art. Whether ultra-urban or rural conservative, he easily weaves a variety of styles and cultural influences into his creations.

Bacca is inspired by artisanship, with a keen sensitivity toward cultural symbols and emblems. The collections of Bacca Da Silva seek to interpret this multi-culturalism through the eyes of an internationalist using a wide range of luxurious fabrics and unique combinations of interesting materials and techniques.

Born in Sao Paulo, Bacca grew up amongst rolls of fabrics watching his mother sew for the extended family. This early influence later led to a budding career as a fashion show producer and Stylist.  While still in his teens, Bacca produced several cutting-edge fashion shows raising substantial funds for a variety of charitable causes while vibrantly introducing the collections of local merchants to the public.  These early successes and the favorable public reaction to his productions stimulated Bacca to enter the world of fashion design.

This entry into the world of fashion design was not straight forward.  Realizing that extending his vision of what fashion could bring to his customers required a sound commercial footing, Bacca after finishing his undergrad in business and fashion design, decided to leave Brazil for the United States in 1999 to earn his MBA at Thunderbird. This educational experience connected Bacca to a range of forward thinking individuals which led to the global connections that now assist in the production of his collections.

Bacca’s reception into the American fashion community has been warm and fast- paced.  In the span of a few short years, he has been recognized as one of the leading upcoming and coming new designers in the USA by GEN ART and has been featured in several prominent fashion events, newspapers and magazines and having worldwide celebrities wearing his pieces such as Natalie Cole, Carrie Fisher and Kristi Yamaguchi.  In 2008, he opened 3000 square foot flagship store off Union Square in San Francisco. In 2010 and 2011, Bacca bas has been awarded the best menswear fashion designer in SF, CA.

The Hatch co-founders Katie Jain and Joel Templin have created a design studio that has based its philosophy on design that is honest, hands-on and human.  Working with new business’ Hatch has helped to launch new products and services and has injected new life into existing brands.

Since opening its doors in 2007 Hatch has created indentities, packaging, advertising, promotional and digital design for companies such as Coca Cola, American Eagle and Starbucks.

Steve Barrett is a leading a 3D digital artist and creative retoucher currently working in San Francisco, California.
He was born in London, England and raised in the US.

Since his graduation from the Columbus College of Art and Design he has worked as a 3D Artist, Illustrator, Designer and Creative Retoucher in the Advertising and Print Industries. Before moving to San Francisco, he worked as an Imaging and Prepress Manager in New York City.
Currently he enjoys creating 3D illustrations and retouching images for advertising agencies, photographers and design firms.
